Dr Oz: Show Inspired Man To Lose Over 200 Pounds
Dr Oz shared that there was a man who used their show to transform his health and now he’s helping thousands reach their health goals. Dr Oz said his story was one of the most inspiring he had ever seen. Barry’s father passed away and he turned to food to ease the pain. He reached 450 pounds, and his kids had a hard time seeing him struggle. He had asthma, high blood pressure, and an enlarged heart. His health got so bad that his wife had to push him around in a wheelchair.
Barry was inspired by The Dr Oz Show and knew he could be an inspiration to others too. Barry has since lost 237 pounds, which was the start of his huge following on Facebook. People were so inspired by his 15-month weight loss that they also started their own weight loss journeys.
Dr Oz: Inspiring Weight Loss Stories
Barry finally got to have the moment he always dreamed of when he walked out on stage to meet Dr Oz. Barry said he wanted to tell everyone it’s possible to lose weight the natural way. First, he cut out three products: diet soda, fast food, and salty food.
Barry said he drinks over a gallon of water a day and changed his diet around. He starts his day with a bowl of plain oatmeal. About an hour later he’ll eat a hard-boiled egg. He’ll then have a whey protein drink made out of just whey protein and water. He also ate dinners like baked salmon, vegetables, and salad.
Barry said he knew he was turning 49 years old and his daughter is a nutritionist. He said watching the show changed his life and inspired him. He also loves to help people.
Dr Oz: 300-Pound Weight Loss
Barry is helping thousands of people get healthy on his Facebook page. Dr Oz asked some of his followers from New York to come and meet with him for the first time. A whole large group of people ran out excited to meet Barry.
One of the people Barry inspired was Cassandra, who gained 100 pounds after she had her second child. Her weight spiraled out of control and she hit 495 pounds. Her friends encouraged her to watch The Dr Oz Show and she saw a show about juicing. She started juicing the next day and lost 30 pounds in the first 30 days.
Through juicing, healthy eating, and exercising, she lost over 300 pounds. She juices three times a week and has over 1,000 followers on Facebook. She wants to share that you don’t need surgeries or expensive meal plans to lose weight.
