Dr Oz: Ricky Martin’s Go-To Vegetarian Meal
Dr Oz was back with Ricky Martin, who was giving everyone an inside look at his daily regimen that helped him get into and stay in such great shape. One of Ricky’s go-to meals is spiced mango chutney, because it helps satisfy sweet cravings. He loves mango and ginger and other spices, but you can follow the same idea with fruit and other spices. Dr Oz: Ricky Martin Meditation & Collagen Mask
Another healthy habit of Ricky’s is morning meditation and self-reflective yoga. The main thing is to breathe in and out slowly, while focusing only on your breath in order to oxygenate your body. He called it “counting without counting.” It’s a practice he learned while in India working for his foundation to fight human trafficking.
Another one of Ricky’s habits involves collagen masks, after they were recommended to him by his makeup artist. He will also put collagen gloves on his hands as well! Ricky was also thrilled to announce that he was entering into a Las Vegas residency until September 2017.
Dr Oz: Ricky Martin Spiced Mango Chutney Recipe Ingredients
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger
- juice from 1/2 lemon
- ground cardamom
- 2 large mangoes
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro
- 1 tsp agave nectar
Ricky Martin: Dr Oz Spiced Mango Chutney Recipe Directions
- Peel two mangoes and slice them into large pieces
- Peel and mince 1 tbsp fresh ginger
- Finely chop 2 tbsp fresh cilantro and stir with the ginger and mango
- Mix the juice of 1/2 lemon with 1 tsp agave nectar
- Pour over the mango mixture
- Sprinkle the ground cardamom on top
- Serve over rice and steamed cauliflower or eat by itself
