Dr Oz: Heroin Addiction

Dr Oz will sit down for interviews with everyday women who are just like us, except they have a shocking secret: they became addicted to heroin. It’s shocking to think that the woman next door could be the new face of heroin addiction, but the reality is that use of the drug is on the rise, which means it’s spreading to the suburbs.

Dr Oz will welcome addiction specialist Seth Jaffe to his show to help take a closer look at why heroin addiction is on the rise, and what, if anything, we can do to prevent it from hitting too close to home.

Dr Oz: Diet To Lower Cholesterol

Then, in honor of Heart Health Month, Dr Oz will share ways you can cut your cholesterol by up to 20%! That’s pretty incredible, and what’s even more amazing is that you can do it by following a simple diet. Dr Oz will share the diet you need to get on if you have high cholesterol, in order to bring your numbers down now, potentially saving your life in the long run.

Dr Oz: Save Money On Health Food

Finally, we’re all trying to save money wherever and however we can, but we’re also trying to eat healthier and maybe even lose a few pounds. One common complaint about improving a person’s diet is that health food can be pretty expensive. The good news is that options are growing for grocery consumers when it comes to health foods, especially at cheaper prices. Dr Oz will welcome reporter Elisabeth Leamy to his show to explain what you need to look for in order to cut costs while eating healthier.
