Dr Oz: Holiday Hangover Cure
Dr Oz has been getting you ready for festive celebrations with his Holiday Detox. Next, he addressed another problem that can hit hard this time of year with his hangover helper plan. Many people have woken up and said they will never drink again, but even once those symptoms subside, you could still be doing damage to your body. Put the Pickle Juice Shot, Virgin Mary Cocktail, and Asparagus Omelet to work for you.
Dr Oz: Holiday Party Drinking
To prove his point, Dr Oz invited his cameras to someone else’s holiday party. There were plenty of cocktails and glasses of wine. No one was shy about refills or dance moves. Three of the women who had been out late drinking were assembled in the studio to learn how they can prevent these feelings in the future.
From wanting to crawl back in bed to the churning sour stomach and more, you can avoid these symptoms, and it may be easier than you think.
Dr Oz: Pickle Juice Shot
Pickle Juice is an ancient Polish hangover remedy. Salt in pickle juice will help your body re-balance its electrolytes. A night of drinking may be fun, but it can deplete needed electrolytes. Take a shot of Pickle Juice before you go to bed so that you don’t wake up feeling rough.

Dr Oz had the best hangover remedies to alleviate symptoms and get things working again with an asparagus omelet, pickle juice, and a Virgin Mary cocktail.
Dr Oz: Tomato Juice for Blood Sugar
You can tell when something is wrong with your stomach, but what can you do about it? A lot of people can’t help themselves and end up choosing something greasy or filling, which can sometimes aggravate symptoms.
Instead, Dr Oz said to start the morning with a Virgin Mary cocktail. That means leave the alcohol out! This will help to balance your blood sugar after it drops due to your drinking.

Dr Oz: Asparagus Omelet for Hangovers
Then there is the liver, the organ that works hard to process all that alcohol. What can you do to keep it happy after a big night out? The answer may be found in Asparagus, which has been shown to improve the liver’s ability to break down alcohol.
Dr Oz recommended making an Asparagus Omelet, which will combine with Amino Acid in the eggs to break down toxins.
