Dr Oz: Boost Energy & Decrease Pain In 21 Days
You may be surprised by just how much you can change in just 21 days if you set your mind to it. He had multiple participants for his 21-Day Experiment, including a woman who tried a turmeric tonic. Turmeric tonic is an anti-inflammatory wellness drink that promises to boost energy and relieve pain. Michelle drank one 8-oz cup of turmeric tonic every morning for 21 days. By day ten she said she was feeling more energetic and at the end of the second week she was feeling great!
Herbal medicine expert and author of “The Mysterious Mind” Dr Trupti Gokani joined Dr Oz to talk about the turmeric tonic. Turmeric tonic is an herbal remedy that she compared to “liquid sunshine.” Turmeric is the star ingredient and it’s loaded with anti-inflammatory, antiviral, immune-boosting properties. It’s paired with ginger and lemon for a cleansing effect to heal your insides and give you a boost of energy.
Dr Oz: How To Make Turmeric Tonic

To make turmeric tonic, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 4 tsp raw ginger powder
- 3 tbsp agave syrup
- cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/3 C sparkling water
Pour the turmeric, lemon, ginger, agave syrup, and 1/3 C of water into a glass and stir until combined. Then top it off with more sparkling water and a sprinkle of cayenne pepper.
Dr Oz: Turmeric For Chronic Pain
After 21 days, Michelle explained that she didn’t have a lot of chronic pain so it was hard for her to say just how much the drink helped in that aspect, but she could certainly vouch for the energy. She’s a working mom and used to come home from work dead tired. After drinking the tonic for three weeks, she noticed she suddenly had a lot more energy and didn’t need as much coffee. By the third week she had enough energy to last all day long and was even able to give up her Saturday afternoon nap.
Dr Oz admitted that he sprained his knee pretty badly and had a friend that swore by the drink and after drinking it every morning he noticed he suddenly had no pain in his knee, so he could personally vouch for the drink working!
