Dr Oz was back with The 4-Hour Guru, Tim Ferriss, discussing ways you can achieve all-day energy. Have you ever wondered what the most successful people in the world do as soon as they wake up? According to Tim, it’s accurate to say “if you win the morning, you win the day.”
He suggested you come up with something you can do “on autopilot.” Tim shared that he actually has about five things he likes to check off his own list in the morning. Tim designed a morning regimen that would take very little time. The first morning ritual is to make your bed. It takes just two minutes and becomes something you can control to start your day and build moment.
Then do just 5-10 reps of physical activity, whether it’s push-ups or jumping jacks.

Next, be sure to eat 30 grams of protein in the morning to increase body temperature, increase energy, and potentially help you burn more fat. Rapid fat loss is correlated to high energy and the common thread was protein in the morning. Tim likes a bowl of cottage cheese with walnuts and cinnamon and a sprinkle of salt. It takes seconds to put together.
