Dr Oz: Rapid Weight Loss Breakfast Smoothie Recipe
Whether you are trying Dr Oz’s plan or not, a healthy breakfast is critical for your overall health, as well as your energy and mood. Dr Oz has a fantastic protein smoothie to keep you full and flush your body with antioxidants. A viewer named Theresa lost 14 pounds and six inches from her waist on the two-week diet. She demonstrated how to make Dr Oz’s easy breakfast smoothie.
- 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 1/2 Banana
- 1/2 cup frozen Berries
- 2 tbsp Rice Protein Powder
- 2 tbsp Flaxseed Powder
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend to your preferred consistency.
Dr Oz promised that frozen berries are inexpensive and mean you don’t need ice in this smoothie. Theresa’s tip was to add the flaxseeds last so they are ground up in the smoothie.
Dr Oz: Hot Lemon Water in Keurig Machine
Don’t forget that you should enjoy your smoothie after starting your day with the juice of 1/2 a fresh lemon, squeezed into a cup of hot water. If you have a single-serving coffee machine, such as a Keurig, it’s fast and easy to make hot water by running the machine to make a cup without a coffee pod inserted. You could have hot water ready to go in about a minute, and you can be cutting your lemon while the machine does all the work!
Bonus tip: this is also a great way to make tea in your coffee brewer. Individual tea bags are often more cost-effective than tea pods for your beverage machine, so think about this the next time you’re shopping.
