How do you know whether this is what is happening to you? Some people might have reactions to foods containing dairy, eggs, soy, and wheat. But Dr Oz was primarily concerned about wheat.

According to Dr Oz, his best guess for any food allergy is that the cause might be wheat. It is what has changed the most over the years. It is also hiding in foods you might not even think about.
Here are some possible wheat culprits that you might need to know about.
- Buckwheat – Buckwheat does not actually contain wheat. It’s found in many flours, pastas, and even gluten-free beer.
- Durum – Durum is a type of hard kernel wheat found in many common pastas.
- Quinoa – Quinoa is not wheat. It is also one of Dr Oz’s favorite grains. It is high in protein as well.
If you think you have a food sensitivity that may be behind your exhaustion, try going wheat-free for a week to see whether your symptoms subside. If not, the cause is something else. Either way, this is a cheap and easy food allergy test you can do yourself.
