Dr Oz: Gluten Diagnosis
Dr. Oz called on a woman in the audience to tell everyone about her gluten sensitivity. Jessica said she had terrible headaches, joint aches and digestive problems, among other problems, for nearly two decades. She would be fine one week and the next week se would be terribly sick. Every time she went to a doctor, the doctor would tell her something different than the previous doctor. She said she was misdiagnosed numerous times, with one doctor telling her she was lactose intolerant and the next telling her she was depressed.
Dr Oz: Gluten & Prescription Medications
Jessica said she could no longer take the eczema or all the medications she was taking. Finally, one of her friends told her she could have a gluten sensitivity. After Jessica rid herself of all the gluten in her diet, her symptoms started to go away. She said it took her so long to figure out what was wrong because there has been very little research on the topic.

Jessica tells her story of living with gluten sensitivity for nearly two decades before she was diagnosed and Dr. Oz gives everyone a gluten sensitivity test.

Dr. Barnard said the symptoms Jessica was getting are normal for a person with a gluten sensitivity. They will feel fatigued, have headaches constantly and a very messed up digestive tract.
