Should you eat asparagus raw or cooked? Dr Weil said that it’s rich in the B vitamin folate, which you won’t get from cooked asparagus. I’ve never eaten raw asparagus before, but maybe I’ll have to try it. Dr Weil said you can dip it in a salad dressing as a snack.

Garlic is one of nature’s perfect foods, working as an antibiotic and boosting your heart. Crushed, raw garlic is the most potent form. You can mix it into a tomato sauce at the very end, or even throw it in some salad dressing to get the effects.

If you feel a cold coming on, try eating a Garlic clove to fight off the effects. You can also spread crushed garlic on toast with olive oil or honey.
For people who love garlic but are worried about the smell, Dr Weil said that the smell goes away if you are eating more garlic on a regular basis. For fresh breath after eating, chew fresh parsley.
