Dr. Oz invited fitness expert Brett Hoebel on the show to go over the best exercises for burning belly fat. He assured the audience his workouts work great because they are more than simple crunches. All of these moves are meant to target more areas of the body during a simple workout.

Dr. Oz talked with the author of The Beauty Detox Foods about the health benefits of dulse, beets and watercress while also going over a belly blasting workout.
Beauty Detox Foods To Eliminate From Your Diet
Kimberly Snyder, author of The Beauty Detox Foods, said the foods you eat have a direct impact on your appearance because they nourish your body from the inside out. She said by getting rid of the foods listed below and replacing them with some of her beauty detox foods listed even further below, her patients have seen results like glowing skin, weight loss and a healthier diet in as little as three days.
- Processed foods
- Refined sugars
- Dairy
- Soda
- Artificial sweeteners
- Gluten
Dr Oz: What Is Dulse?
Snyder said a sign that your kidneys are not functioning properly and you could be dehydrating yourself is having bags under your eyes. She suggested eating dulse if you have bags under your eyes. She explained dulse is a sea vegetable that has a salty flavor but is low in sodium. The vegetable also contains potassium, iron and other minerals making it a great way to help heal your kidneys and get rid of those bags under your eyes.
Cabbage Gets Rid Of Crow’s Feet
One complaint Dr. Oz usually hears from women is they hate the “crow’s feet” on the outside of their eyes. These crow’s feet are caused by high levels of cortisol surging through the body, the hormone the body releases when it becomes stressed.
Dr. Oz suggested eating one cup of cabbage three to fives times per week to help with crow’s feet. This will get rid of the crow’s feet because a single serving contains 80 percent of the daily recommended amount of vitamin C.
Watercress Helps Oxygenate Blood For Less Patchy-Looking Skin
Another common complaint Dr. Oz often hears is from women with patchy skin on their face. Snyder said this is often times a sign of poor circulation because not enough oxygenated blood or nutrients are getting to those parts of skin. Don’t worry though – Dr. Oz has a solution for patchy skin.
Watercress: Snyder explained watercress is an inexpensive detox food that is high in iron, which helps your red blood cells carry more oxygen all around the body.
Eating Beets Adds Glow To Dull Skin
One of the final complaints Dr. Oz has been hearing a lot lately is that women are not only seeing wrinkles on their face but they are also seeing the color in their skin fade. Dr. Oz said this can be a sign your lymphatic system is not working properly to drain toxins from your body as efficiently as possible.
Beets: Beets contain an antioxidant that specifically supports your liver, which in turn supports your lymphatic system.
