Dr Oz: Nate Berkus Emotional Decor
Nate let Dr Oz’s cameras inside his own how to show how he really lives. During the tour, he shared an emotional piece of artwork that he has prominently displayed. He said that the piece, which hangs in his dining room, fills him with hope and has helped him continue moving forward since the 2004 death of his partner, Fernando.
He said that everyone should find art or furniture to include in their homes that helps them tap into their emotions and be comfortable in the space.
Dr Oz: Clean House Health
Nate Berkus also told Doctor Oz that you cannot have a dirty home and be healthy in the long term. He said keeping a clean home will help you have grace and beauty in your life overall. In addition, clutter and messes will cause stress, no matter how beautiful your design and decor may be.
If you are struggling with clutter, Nate has some solutions in mind. He suggested using trays and decorate boxes to keep your belongings organized and grouped together. It will also help you more easily find things you’re looking for in a hurry.
Dr Oz: Nate Berkus Stress Remedy
Nate said you can make your home a haven that will help your stress melt away at the end of every day. Try putting an ottoman in your living room so that you can put your feet up and relax at the end of the day.
Taking the time to relax and be comfortable for even a few minutes during the day or at night can have a huge impact on your health and stress level.
