Dr. Oz: No More Endorsements
Dr. Oz said he is going to stop endorsing products by name. He does not want to endorse products and have other products, which are similar but not the same, try to trick people in to buying something he does not endorse.

Dr. Oz said he is done endorsing products but he has made a compromise with the viewers to help them become more informed.
But a lot of viewers are not happy with this idea. A lot of viewers liked the ease of finding Dr. Oz endorsed products at the store and knowing exactly what to buy. But now many people feel left in dark, not knowing which brand they should buy for certain products, such as Retinol.
Carmelita said it used to take her five minutes to find what she needed, but now she has to shop longer.
Dr. Oz: Smarter Consumers
Dr. Oz said he does not want Dr. Oz fans to be manipulated by products. He wants to make his fans more informed about the products so they can make healthy, informative decisions by themselves. He said if he can make everyone more health conscious, then he make everyone product conscious as well.
Dr. Oz: Retinol Anti-Aging Cream
Carmelita said she likes to shop for anti-aging products for her face and skin, saying she uses a lot of Retinol cream. Dr. Oz said it does not matter about the brand, so much as it does about the ingredients inside the bottle.
Dr. Oz explained Retinol is a type of Vitamin A which acts as an anti-aging agent. When the collagen in the skin starts to break down, the skin will start to droop down and wrinkle. By using Retinol, people are able to reverse the sagging and wrinkling because the Retinol will percolate through the skin layer and push away older layers of skin while rebuilding the collagen. It essentially helps to smooth the wrinkles out.
Dr Oz: How To Choose Products & Supplements
Dr. Oz made a compromise with the audience. He said he would give viewers, raw ingredients in the product, the approximate cost, the suggested amount and the length of the treatment needed, instead of specific product brand names. He wants everyone to be more aware what they are buying, not just buying blindly because he told them to.
I would say this is a pretty fair arrangement. What do you think?
