Dr Oz: Body Types
What type of body do you have? Maybe an easier question to answer is, what area of your body would you most like to improve? Today, Dr. Oz revealed ways you can target your diet to focus on losing weight in specific problem areas.
If it’s true, I know this will be exciting news for some people. Dr. Oz mentioned that recent research is finding that changing just one meal in your daily diet can alter the way your body burns fat. You can use this knowledge to teach your body how and when to store fat.
According to Dr. Oz, these meals can help you start to change your body shape in as little as five days.
Dr Oz: Big Butt Body Type
Dr. Oz said that ⅔ of women have a large butt. However, there is some good news. Butt fat isn’t as hazardous to your health as belly fat, and it can actually help you fight off certain diseases. But it’s also the first place that pounds begin to appear if you gain weight.
Kelly Anne told Dr. Oz she has this body type, and she feels self conscious about it when she is out in public. She feels she would spend more time exercising if she had a smaller rear end, because she would be more comfortable wearing gym clothes.
One suggestion for people with this body type is that you can get a low impact workout by sitting on a firm chair.

Do you have big arms or a big chest? If so, they could be putting your heart at risk. This is especially true if you are under a lot of stress or don’t get enough protein in your diet.
Audience member Pamela said she is uncomfortable giving and receiving hugs because of her big size. She said she has to avoid certain tops so she won’t draw attention to her arms. She won’t even swim in her own pool.
Sadly for Pamela and many others, Dr. Oz said it’s very difficult to lose weight from this area of the body. But he did have a suggestion.

According to Dr. Oz, the fat on your thighs isn’t doing anything for you; it’s not even being stored for future use. It also makes it hard to get into your favorite pair of jeans sometimes.
Just ask Christine, who’s lost 40 pounds, all of it above the waist. She can’t seem to get her thighs in shape, and Dr. Oz confirmed they’re the last area where you’ll lose weight, but it is possible to do so. One tip he mentioned is adding a teaspoon of Cinnamon to your diet daily, to help regulate blood sugar.
