Dr Oz: Overweight & In Debt
Dr Oz explained that the holidays can leave you feeling, broke, fat, or even worse, broke and fat. Dr Oz had a simple plan to show you how to save money while losing weight. It’s just what Kim needs, after sharing that she’s 50 pounds overweight and drowning in debt. She eats out at restaurants a lot, eating things like burgers and pizza, and drinks a lot of soda, sometimes even six a day. She also smokes, spending $50-60 a week on it.
She owes $15,000-20,000 on credit cards and about $10,000 in student loans. She eats and smokes to make herself feel better and even goes shopping to help deal with the stress, which obviously puts her into even more debt. Kim revealed to Dr Oz that she feels like she’s slowly killing herself with her bad habits.
Dr Oz: Debt Vs Income
Dr Oz put Kim in the Truth Tube and said basically she owes more than she makes, which means her debts outweigh her income. Her blood pressure is 154/102, when it’s supposed to be 120/80. Dr Oz pointed out that for a young woman, those numbers are incredibly high.
Dr Oz said Kim was basically drowning in debt, and she reaches for soda, junk food, and cigarettes. Kim is often woken up in the middle of the night due to all the stress, and sometimes she’ll even seemingly numb herself to avoid having to deal with it. It’s an ugly cycle that Kim definitely needs to break.
Dr Oz: Breaking An Unhealthy Cycle
Dr Oz told Kim he had a way for her to be rich and healthy, rather than drowning in debt and overweight.More debt means more stress which can lead to problems when it comes to her heart and her wallet. Dr Oz was ready to help Kim turn her life around and finally find relief. Upon hearing that he had a plan, Kim said it sounded like heaven.
