Dr Oz Bloating: Greek Yogurt Pumpkin Dessert & Alpha-Galactosidase

Dr Oz: Alpha-Galactosidase for Belly Bloat

Many of us have problems with belly bloat, whether it’s only right after we eat or the kind that lasts all day. Dr. Oz shared his remedies for helping beat the bloat. The first tip that Dr. Oz gave was to take alpha-galactosidase before the gas starts.

The supplement will help stop the gas before it starts. The supplement helps with gases that come from foods like pasta, cake, burgers, and fries. Just take one dose of alpha-galactosidase before every meal. It is available over-the-counter in liquid or pill form.

Dr. Oz: Beat Gas With Ginger

Dr Oz Bloating: Greek Yogurt Pumpkin Dessert & Alpha-Galactosidase

Dr. Oz shared remedies that will help you tackle belly bloating and gas.

The next trick Dr. Oz shared for beating belly bloat was to suck on a lollipop. Not just any lollipop though; a ginger lollipop!

Ginger lollipops are commonly used with kids to help settle their upset stomachs or for pregnant women to relieve nausea. But what you may not have known before, is that ginger will help deflate you. When ginger is in your body, it helps relax your intestinal muscle which helps relieve gas. Dr. Oz suggested sucking on one after each meal to help with bloat, plus the sweetness of the sucker will help satisfy your sweet tooth.

If you would prefer ginger in another form, you can also try ginger chews or ginger tea.

Dr. Oz Pumpkin for Bloating

Dr. Oz explained that pumpkin helps reduce water retention in the stomach because the potassium allows you to get rid of the excess water in your body. Pumpkin also helps with gas because it has fiber. He said to have one cup of 100% pumpkin before going to bed to help beat the bloat. Just mix 1 cup of pumpkin, 1 cup of yogurt, and 1 tbsp cinnamon as a puree for the perfect dessert.

Dr. Oz: Beat Bloat with Peppermint

If you’re one of those people that seems to stay bloated from morning to night, peppermint is the thing for you.

Peppermint improves the flow of bile and stimulates gastric emptying. Just 3 drops of peppermint extract into a glass of water or 2 peppermint pill capsules twice a day can dramatically help deflate you.
