Today Show: The Pistons’ Dancing Usher Shannon Sailes

The Pistons’ usher Shannon Sailes can claim he is the best dancing usher at any professional basketball stadium and he has the moves to prove it. Sailes has been making the Pistons audience smile for a while now, always dancing when the camera stops on him, but it wasn’t always that way.

Sailes told the Today Show the first time the camera stopped on him he started dancing because he wanted to have a little fun. After he was done another usher ran over and told him it is against the rules for ushers to dance and he might as well start packing his bags because he was going to get fired. Luckily, Sailes’ bosses liked his dance moves and told him to dance as much as he wanted when the camera stopped on him.

“A lot of the players like it too,” Sailes added.

He even gave the Today Show audience a show of his dance moves. I think he almost made a few female fans faint with some of his moves, especially his heart pounding move, where he made it look like his heart was going to pop out of his chest it was beating so hard.

Today Show: Danny Boyle Directs Trance

Danny Boyle’s newest film, Trance, is hitting theaters today and the Today Show invited him to give them the scoop on his thriller. Boyle said the movie is about a fine art auctioneer who teams up with a hypnotist to get back the painting that was stolen from the auction house. He added that he wanted to make the movie because it gave him a chance to put a female in the lead role, which he has wanted to do for some time.

Another interesting fact about the movie is that Boyle has been thinking about it for a long time. He came up with the idea when he was working on 127 Hours, which released  in 2011.
