Today Show: Hangover Part 3 Review & Ken Jeong Is an Actual Doctor

Today Show: Ken Jeong Hangover 3 Preview

Ken Jeong, best known for his role as the insane Mr. Chow in the Hangover movies, came on the Today Show May 13 2013 to talk about his reprisal of the popular role in the upcoming Hangover Part 3, which will apparently be the last Hangover movie to be released.

Ken Jeong seemed enthusiastic about the role, even three movies in, calling it the best thing that has ever happened to him and something he considers himself lucky to be a part of. Given that his role in the movies has landed him an interview on the Today Show, he looks at it all as a dream come true.

Ken Jeong Mr. Chow Role

Ken Jeong is sad to see the Hangover movies coming to an end with Hangover Part 3

“It just changed my life from black and white to technicolor,” Ken said of his role as Mr. Chow.

He looks back on his time on the movie fondly, having been able to shoot not one, but three films with some people that he now considers to be best friends of his.

“You can’t ask for more than that in this business,” Ken said.

Ken Jeong Is Also a Doctor

Even if Ken Jeong’s role is as Mr. Chow will be coming to an end soon, this doesn’t mean the actor is out of options. Interestingly enough, Ken Jeong maintains an active medical license outside of his acting career, though he is not currently practicing medicine. His wife, however, does still work as a doctor.

Even though Hangover is coming to an end with Hangover Part 3, it does not spell the end of Ken Jeong’s acting career, either. He will also be reprising his co-starring role on NBC’s Community as it comes back this year.

Hangover Part 3 will be opening May 23 2013.
