Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb were joined by Judi and Shari Zucker, who shared recipes for allergy-free snacks for kids like Carob Fudge Brownies Recipe.



  • 1 3/4 cup honey
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup grapeseed, safflower or sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups oat flour
  • 3/4 cup carob powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder


  1. To get started, you will want to preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Then take a 13×9 baking pan and lightly oil it and set it aside
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, carob powder and baking powder and set aside
  4. In a large mixing bowl, place the honey, oil, water and vanilla and stir until well blended
  5. Now you can add the flour mixture to the honey mixture and stir it until it forms a smooth batter
  6. Grab the prepared pan and spoon the batter into it and spread the mixture in an even layer
  7. Place the brownie mixture in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the brownies comes out clean
  8. When the brownies are done cooking, remove the pan from the oven and place the brownies on a wire rack to cool down
  9. You will want to let the brownies cool down for at least ten minutes
  10. Once cooled, cut the brownies into squares and they are now ready to be served
