Kathie Lee & Hoda: Emmy Rossum Sentimental Journey Review
Kathie Lee and Hoda invited Emmy Rossum onto the show to perform a song off her newest album Sentimental Journey. Rossum told the co-hosts she grew up in the city with her mother and her mother would always have songs from the 30s, 40s and 50s playing in the house. She grew up listening to the music and she wanted to record an album with the sound she grew up listening too.
Rossum has a wonderful voice and it is almost strange she didn’t decide to get into music instead of pursuing her career in acting. Her voice can really travel and she really captures the tone of the songs from back in the day. It really made you feel like if the color on the TV was gone, you would be back in 40s.
