Labor Day is a Federal holiday celebrated on the first Monday in September to honor workers. The ladies said it is symbolic as the end of summer.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Sexy Wedding Photos

Hoda said a new trend popping up is for couples taking sexy photos the day after they say “I Do.” New trend for newlyweds. It is done by New Jersey photographer Michelle Jonne as an add-on package to the photography package for $650. Kathie Lee said she thinks it is just bizarre. Hoda said why do you need that picture to remember you had sex on your wedding day.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Suitcase Psychology

Virgin Atlantic showed us what your suitcase says about you. If you like zany colored luggage then you are an attention seeker. The standard, black luggage is usually for the serious, seasoned traveler. Hoda said she does look on the conveyor belt when she sees that bright, floral luggage and wants to know who it belongs to.


Viral Video: Girl Learns How To Ride A Bike

Kathie Lee and Hoda shared a viral video that is going around about a girl who is learning how to ride a bike. She can’t make turns and is going fast and crashes into the garage.

Kids of 2012: What They Want To Be When They Grow Up

Wakefield Research and Gerber Life College Plan survey asked kids what they wanted to be when they grow up and the answers are:

  1. Doctor
  2. Teachers
  3. Athletes
  4. Veterinarian
  5. Performer

The survey also stated that 39% of parents would not allow or would discourage their kid from becoming a reality TV star.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Manic Mondays

A study showed that the concept of miserable Mondays is untrue. It is also Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and people are only happy on Fridays. Kathie Lee asked if people really hate their careers that much. Hoda said her least favorite day is Sunday afternoons or evenings because she knows the weekend is over and has to go to work the next day.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Unreal Candy Reviews

While getting her hair done for the Kennedy wedding, Kathie Lee said her amazing hair stylist served them these candies. They are called Unreal Candy and they try to recreate our favorite candies without corn syrup, artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. They also reduce the sugar by over 49% with each serving. Kathie Lee said they are delicious. Cost is $0.89-1.29.

Hoda said if you are looking for the most comfortable t-shirt ever, you will love this shirt. She said it is by Headrush. They are kind of pricey at $45, but you can wear it with jeans and dress it up even.

Sara Haines said her Favorite Thing is an app for your iPad/iPhone, which is called Flipboard. It is a social magazine and it aggregates everything from your Facebook and your Twitter and turns it into a personalized reading. It is a free app.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Fan of the Week Winner

Kathie Lee and Hoda announced the winner of their Fan of the Week, which was Joseph Crisalli from McKinney, Texas. He works from home as an author and historian and guarantees their pairing will go down in history. For winning, he won a trip to Ithaca, NY. Kathie Lee said Ithaca is gorgeous.
