Kathie Lee & Hoda: White House Black Market Dress Reviews
Louis Licari said that people like the look that they feel they peaked in, so all the girls that peaked in the 80s still have that look. For the Plaza Ambush Makeover on The Today Show, Kathie Lee and Hoda took Diana Todd, who is 54 years old from Seymour, CT. Her daughters asked them to take their Mom out of the 80s. Her beauty routine is pink blush, side-pony and random barrettes.
For the hair, Louis Licari said it was mission impossible and do not try this at home. She had dyed-black hair and he had to soften that up, because it is 2012. They softened her hair and layered it.
For the look, Jill Martin said they went back to the basics because you have to have the basics in your closet. It is a little black dress from White House Black Market with a little flair.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Alfani Women’s Dress Review
For the Plaza Ambush Makeover on The Today Show, Kathie Lee and Hoda took Angela Stevens, who is 34 years old from Twin Rocks, PA. She likes curling her bangs, teasing her bangs and wearing gaudy clothing. Her style is all lace, leopard print. She said 80’s were a great time, so why not stay in it.
For the hair, Louis Licari said he softened the hair color and added highlights on the end of it, which is very contemporary and gave her the straight haircut. They gave her the natural, soft makeup instead of the bubble gum makeup she was using.
For the look, Jill Martin said she gave her a great wrap dress, which is another thing all women should have in their wardrobe. It is Alfani Women and available at Macy’s.
