Alyssa Rapp said for pool parties you can take the splash with you, in more ways than one. She brought a Cannonball Chardonnay, which has a splash theme. It is a Sonoma County Chardonnay and are great for pool parties.

Kathie Lee & Regis: Wine Olympics

Alyssa Rapp said if you want to go for more adventure with your wine party, you can host your very own Wine Olympics this summer. Alyssa said you can either have your guests each bring wine from a different country or you yourself can bring in wine from around the world. What you would need to do is brown bag the bottles of wine, taste them blindly and then you can award your very own gold, silver and bronze medals.

For a clam bake, Alyssa Rapp said you are going to want to go with a sparkling wine or white wine and forget the red wine. Alyssa brought a Pacific Rim Riesling 2009 for $9.99.  Alyssa said that riesling can be dry or sweet and it has that floral and aromatic note that is great.

Kathie Lee & Regis: Gloria Ferrer Carneros Chardonnay Review

Alyssa Rapp also brought Gloria Ferrer Carneros Chardonnay 2009 for $14.00. Alyssa said this is something that is more rich and goes great with lobster or you can choose Gloria Ferre Non-Vintage Sonoma Brut for $16 and Middle Sister Moscato.

Kathie Lee & Regis: Duckhorn Decoy Napa Valley Red Blend Review

For those 4th of July BBQ parties, Alyssa Rapp said that red wines go great with burgers. Alyssa brought in a Duckhorn 2009 Decoy Napa Valley Red Blend for $15.25.
