Kathie Lee & Hoda: Getting Organized – Elfa Utility Board Review

For the entire week, Kathie Lee and Hoda are going to help women across the board learn to be more focused, less frazzled and better organized in their daily lives, especially when it comes to spring cleaning. To help them with the task, they brought on Amy Goodman to help them move the clutter out and move the organization skills in.

The first place everyone should start organizing is in the garage. She said the Elfa Utility Board is the way to go when you need to get things off the floor and onto the wall. Having something on the wall and at eye level will make it easier to find and easier to store since you can hang almost anything from the wall using some of the products listed below.

KLG & Hoda: Elfa Utility Board, the Ball Claw & Guitar Hanger Review

Kathie Lee and Hoda looked at some great products to get you organized, like the Elfa Utility Board, the Ball Claw, Guitar Hanger and clear totes.

  • Elfa Utility Board from The Container Store
  • Magnetic Jar Rack from Bed Bath and Beyond
  • Ball Claw from The Container Store

Goodman said she also likes to use clear tote bags when she stores things. She organizes her tote bags by the sports her children play. For example, one bag is only soccer equipment for her daughter and she can tell without opening the bag because it is clear. She suggested using command hooks when hanging items on the wall because you move them higher as the children get taller.

Getting your gardening tools together and not losing them can be a struggle sometimes. Goodman suggested getting some bins with mesh sides so it is easy to see inside. If you are more a fan of cabinets, Goodman suggested bringing out a cabinet or desk from the house that isn’t used often and labeling the drawers of the cabinets with the items inside to make them easier to find.

  • Hide and Seek Storage Shelf from CB2
  • Threshold from Target

While discussing the first two places everyone should start organizing, Kathie Lee and Hoda ran out of time to talk about the other products but all of them are listed below. I am sure you can find some great ways to use all the items to help you get your house organized.

  • Style Tiles
