Kathie Lee is opening her first Broadway musical, Scandalous, in November 2012. The box office opens August 20 2012 for Scandalous and tickets are going fast, which Kathie Lee is so grateful for.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Review

Honey Boo Boo used to be on Toddlers & Tiaras and now she has her own show called Here Comes Honey Boo Boo on TLC. Hoda said it is the best show ever and funny that it is subtitled. Kathie Lee said it is great to see a kid with that kind of bigger than life personality.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Oprah Interviews Rihanna

Oprah interviewed Rihanna for Oprah’s Next Chapter on OWN. Rihanna talked a lot about Chris Brown and she said she still loves him. In 2009, there was a protective order against Brown for beating on Rihanna. Kathie Lee said she wishes them the best and there seems to be some unresolved stuff there.

Money Magazine ranked the best small cities to live in. The top five small cities to live in in the US are:

  1. Carmel, IN
  2. McKinney, TX
  3. Eden Prairie, MN
  4. Newton, MA
  5. Redmond, WA

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Wonder Smoothie Recipe

For her Favorite Thing, Kathie Lee gave the Wonder Smoothie Recipe. She said this is to help when you are traveling and you may be bound up. Hoda said the banana with the pineapple juice, it is so good.

Ingredients

  • Fresh spinach
  • Fresh mint
  • Organic pineapple juice
  • Banana
  • Ice

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a blender and serve

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Kate Spade iPhone Wristlet Review

For her Favorite Thing, Hoda brought in a Kate Spade iPhone Wristlet for $70. You can open it up and you can put your iPhone in there in the middle. You can talk on the phone and keep it closed and keep your credit cards in there and your keys snap on to it.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Guard Your ID Stamp Review

For her Favorite Thing, Sara Haines said she is an obsessive shredder when it comes to her personal documents. She brought in a Guard Your ID stamp from The Container Store for $10. You put it over your address or anything that you are trying to hide and it blacks it out and then you can recycle the document.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Bingo’s Lick-It List

Luke is a boy that has a form of sleep apnea where he loses his breath. His dog, Bingo, has alerted people when he is having an episode and has saved his life a couple times. Bingo now has a form of senior dementia and Luke has created a Lick-It List for Bingo and things he wants to do for his dog before he passes away. Kathie Lee & Hoda: Fan of the Week Winner

Kathie Lee and Hoda announced their Fan of the Week winner, which is Cindy Owens from Brookfield, NY. She loves the chat because it reminds her of her 46-year friendship with her BFF Lisa. Even though they live 3,000 miles apart, this is the one thing they can share together. They love laughing together with Kathie Lee’s Friday Funny. For winning, Cindy will be going to Panama City, FL.
