Kathie Lee & Hoda: How To Burn Stubborn Belly Fat
Healthy lifestyle expert and dietitian Keri Glassman visited Today to show Kathie Lee and Hoda ways to burn stubborn belly fat. She said the key components to burning that fat is to focus on the food you’re eating using portion control and doing exercises that burn calories and strengthen your core. She brought tools with her that help with these key components, including Kangoo Jumps Rebound Shoes, Stamina Fitness Hoop, Ropeless Jumprope, and wine glasses and snack containers that tell you how much you have poured into them.
Today Show: Kangoo Jumps Rebound Shoes Review
Originally created to reduce stress on joints, the Kangoo Jumps Rebound Shoes burn twice as many calories with 80 percent less impact. Keri said that these shoes are good for anyone who has sustained injuries and good for balance and posture. She said that when wearing the shoes, you can really feel your core working. The shoes are priced at $250, but Keri said they last a long time and can be used indoors as well as outdoors.
Stamina Fitness Hoop Review & Ropeless Jump Rope
The other two fitness tools Keri brought with her were the Stamina Fitness Hoop and the Ropeless Jump Rope. The Stamina Fitness Hoop is a padded hoola hoop, weighing two and a half pounds, resulting in harder work and core strengthening.
The Ropeless Jumprope is just like a normal jump rope, except there is no rope. Hold the two handles, one in each hand and simulate jumping rope without the rope interrupting your jumping. The handles also track how many jumps you’ve done and how many calories you have burned. Keri said that both of these fitness tools can be used while you’re doing something else, like watching television or talking on the phone.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Wine-Trax and Snack-Trax Review
Kathie Lee and Hoda were pleased when Keri said that while trying to burn belly fat, you can still drink wine and eat snacks. She suggested using the Wine-Trax wine glasses and Snack-Trax snack containers, which have marks for 4, 6, and 8 ounces, so you know just how much wine or snacks you’re consuming. She went on to explain that you need to have 30 percent of your daily calories come from fats, so she recommended eating avocados or nuts and seeds, which have healthy fats that can guard against fat storage. She also said that eating half of a grapefruit before every meal can help you lose up to 3.6 pounds more in twelve weeks.
