Wavy Hair: Tips For Thick Hair
Nick Arrojo saod for thick hair and trying to get a wave into it you want to use a straightening iron. Arrojo prepped the hair with a holding spray. he then would just keep pressing the hair until the waves start to form and then spray it afterwards to hold the look.
Wavy Hair: Tips For Super Fine Hair
For super super fine hair, Nick Arrojo said to use a hot rod. Arrojo said to place the hair on the rod and twist it. Continue to do this until all the hair is around the rod and hold. Most of the hot rods come with a glove to help prevent you from burning your hands, but since he is a professional he chose not to wear the glove. This will put more volume in your hair. Arrojo said you get that nice polished curl. He said to keep everything nice and flat on the top, so it brings out the waves on the sides. Arrojo said you can use a texture spray and that helps build bulk in the hair.
Wavy Hair: Hot Rod Vs Rubber Rod
For very straight hair, Nick Arrojo said to use a permanent texture spray and rubber rods to create the curls. Arrojo said to apply the lotion and curl the hair into the rods. He said it doesn’t hurt your hair at all and it is permanently done once you remove the rods. So, it is a perm without the tiny rods and gross-smelling perm mixtures.
