Kathie Lee & Hoda: Energy Boosting Solutions

Some days you don’t have the energy you need to get your work done but there are tricks to getting back your energy that day. Kathie Lee and Hoda invited Spry Living’s Petra Kolber to go over the best ways to get your energy back. You might not like the first solution, but she said it works.

Drink Less Coffee -I know this seems counter-intuitive but Kolber said an eight oz cup of coffee is all you need to drink the entire day. According to her, there is a limit to the amount of coffee your body can process and when it reaches that limit, it makes your body start to crash.

Eat More Protein – Protein will give you energy all day. Kolber suggested eating eggs in the morning. Try making hard boiled eggs and eating them on your commute to work.

Eat Natural Sugar – Stay away from artificial sugars. If your sweet tooth is calling, try biting into a fruit to get some natural sugar.

Stay Hydrated – Not drinking enough water throughout the day will make you tired. Try drinking more water and bringing a water bottle with you everywhere.

Get Yourself Organized – Get the clutter off your desk to help you de-stress.

Get Up and Move – The more you move during the day, the more energy you will have according to Kolber. If you are stuck in a chair all day, Kolber suggested getting a massage roller.
