Freida Pinto: Trishna Review
Trishna is a tragic story about a young woman courted by a wealthy man and the tension that ensues between them. Kathie Lee Gifford said that Freid carries this film completely. Freida said it is going to be a love story with some tragic elements. The movie is based on the Thomas Hardy book Tess of the d’Urbervilles. This is a tragic love story and it isn’t going to end the way you want it to. Freida said it’s not just the two of them, but it is the class differences that keep them away from each other. While she’s trying to fit into his world, she can’t entirely do it and the same goes for him and yet they love each other.
