Kathie Lee & Hoda: Plaza Ambush Makeovers
Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb welcome Louis Licari, celebrity stylist, and Jill Martin, Today Show style contributor and author of I Have Nothing To Wear!, as they take two lucky ladies out of the crowd and surprise them with a brand new look.
Kathie Lee & Hoda Makeover: Roberta Hineline
Roberta Hineline is a 60-year-old choir instructor from Georgia. Her husband and students say she is too busy taking care of everyone else to take care of herself, so Kathie Lee and Hoda decided to take care of her and make her the sexiest choir instructor in the country.
Louis Licari says that Roberta was doing everything wrong with her hair. She had light hair, which made it look thinner and she grew it too long, which made her fine hair look finer. Max cut her hair and gave her a choppy and easy look. The depth of the hair gives it the illusion of more hair.
Jill Martin helps Roberta out with her new look with some sexy new clothes. The tank top and jeans are courtesy of White House Black Market and the coat that Kathie Lee and Hoda love is from Andrew Marc.
Kathie Lee & Hoda Makeover: Carol Leonard
Carol Leonard is from Kansas and is a regular viewer of Kathie Lee and Hoda and has dreamt of being right in this position. She has always wanted a makeover.
Louis Licari said that Max has given Carol a haircut and they did some refreshing of the color. They made her a little brighter and a little lighter. Max also took away the highlights and added nuances of color. They also made her eyebrows more pronounced, which is a little secret that can make you appear younger.
For the new clothes, Jill Martin put her in a great spring/summer dress by Maggy London. The cutouts in the back of the dress are perfect for spring and summer.
