Kathie Lee & Hoda: Rob Shuter Interview
Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb welcomed Huffington Post Celebrity columnist Rob Shuter to The Today Show to talk about the entertainment news that you may have missed, including Tom Cruise Vanity Fair story, Heidi Klum and Seal, Prince Harry public appearance and Russell Crowe lost at sea.
Rob Shuter: Tom Cruise Vanity Fair Story
Rob said this is a shocking story. This has been buzzed around since about 2004. He said Vanity Fair finally got someone to talk about it and it was confirmed by Paul Haggis, the director of Crash and ex-scientologist. Vanity Fair was the magazine that Cruise trusted seven years ago to show Suri Cruise for the very first time. People are wondering if there were other girls that auditioned. Rob said that a lot of women want to date Tom, but what the article is implying is that the Scientology Center wants a specific type of lady to be his wife. They all say it is a lie.
Rob Shuter: Prince Harry Public Appearance
Prince Harry made his first public appearance since nude photo scandal. Rob said he has this Princess Diana quality. It was for the WellChild Awards, which he has been a patron of since 2007. He was getting down on the floor with the kids and a little girl gave him a kiss on the cheek and said we’ve only just met. Rob said it was very sweet.
Rob Shuter: Russell Crowe Rescued By Coast Guard
Russell Crowe was paddling around and was lost for four and a half hours before being rescued. They say they gave him a lift back to where he was from. Rob said Russell is a guys-guy and doesn’t want people to think he was lost.
Rob Shuter: Seal Claims Heidi Klum Slept With Bodyguard
Seal did an interview and he said “he wished Heidi wouldn’t have fornicated with the help.” He is backtracking now and saying that nothing happened with the bodyguard while they were married, but they are technically still married and just separated. Heidi released a statement saying she is happy of their time together. There is a picture of Heidi returning to New York with a new bodyguard.
