People will vote on the final six and the winner will have the show taped on their campus in October 2012.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Carnival Cruise Line Cracking Down On Chair Hogs
Carnival Cruise Line was getting sick and tired of people waking up early and putting their towel on chairs on the deck and leaving their towels there all day to claim their seat. Kathie Lee said it is rude to do that. They have a timer now and you have 40 minutes and if you don’t return to the seat then they will pick up your stuff and you lose your seat. Hoda said she likes the theory of early bird gets the worm.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Creepy Wedding Proposal
A guy in Russia wanted to propose to his girlfriend and he wasn’t sure if she would say yes or no, so he wanted to show her what life would be without him. He staged a fake car accident, hired stuntmen, makeup artists and all. He was laid out on the street and she thought he was dead and then he rose from the dead and proposed and she said yes. Hoda said that is so creepy and sick.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Fake Diamonds
A columnist for NY Times received a letter from a man who wrote in and said he was at a party and his wife was showing off a diamond ring. A man that happened to be a jeweler was there and noticed the ring and knew it was cubic zirconium. So, should the jeweler let the woman know it is a fake or should he just zip it? The columnist said he should just zip it and let it go and let her live her own life. Hoda said if things look good, who cares.
