From beach homes in California to cottage houses in Cape Cod, seaside homes are some of the best and happiest places to live in the United States. Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb welcomed Antonia van der Meer, Editor-In-Chief at Coastal Living Magazine, to discuss the Top 15 Happiest Seaside Towns in America and she shared a Pink Bikini recipe.

Seaside Towns: Lake Bluff, IL
Antonia van der Meer said that Lake Bluff, IL, is on Lake Michigan and people on the east coast and west coast don’t realize what a great coast line there is in the Midwest. She said Lake Bluff has a colorful past for alcohol smuggling during Prohibition. It is a happy place, beautiful town, Queen Anne-style homes within walking distance of the beach.
Seaside Towns: Laguna Beach, CA
Antonia van der Meer said that everything we love about California is wrapped up into Laguna Beach, CA. It started as an artist colony, so still retains that funky vibe. It is a surfer town and has perfect weather.
Seaside Towns: Jupiter, FL
Antonia van der Meer said that Jupiter, FL, is beautiful and the beaches are incredible. You can witness nature at it’s best in Jupiter, FL.
Seaside Towns: Duxbury, MA
Antonia van der Meer said that Duxbury, MA, is on Cape Cod and a terrific place. She said it is a real slice of Americana. It was founded in the 1600s and is a very happy town now. It is known for it’s farming and is a real quaint and charming place.
Seaside Towns: Solomons Island, MD
Antonia van der Meer said that Solomons Island, MD, is kind of a hidden gem. It is the quintessential place to kick back with an icy cold beer at a sea food dive and have some fresh oysters. She said it is a great place to live and visit.
