Kathie Lee & Hoda: Met Gala 2013 Fashion
On Booze Day Tuesday, Kathie Lee & Hoda reviewed some of the fashions from last night’s Met Gala. The star-studded fashion event is hosted each year by Anna Wintour. This year’s theme was Punk: Chaos to Couture, so as you can imagine, some of the looks verged on extreme.
Sarah Jessica Parker wore a feathery mohawk headpiece and knee-high boots, Nicole Richie dyed her hair completely silver and Anne Hathaway dressed in all black with platinum blonde hair. Kim Kardashian is facing criticism for her all-over printed dress, which I hate to say, isn’t too flattering on a pregnant woman. Kathie Lee & Hoda said that Kanye West was in a cranky mood, so who knows what’s going on with those two!
Nicki Minaj Access Hollywood Feud
After a fashion wrap-up, Kathie Lee & Hoda welcomed their colleague Billy Bush to the show. Although he enjoyed a glass of champagne with the ladies, his visit wasn’t just for pleasure. He discussed the recent feud between himself, Nicki Minaj and another Access Hollywood colleague that’s making headlines.
It all began when Nicki Minaj was interviewed by Laura Saltman from Access Hollywood on the American Idol red carpet. Nicki recently blasted fellow judge Mariah Carey on Twitter, but became insulted when Laura asked her to explain her comments.
Now, after defending Laura, Billy Bush has become the target of Nicki’s angry Twitter comments. He wondered where her passive-aggressive behavior truly stems from, and referred to Nicki as “the female Kanye,” since both are talented performers with chips on their shoulders.
Billy said that there is a lot of bitterness on American Idol this season, and the ratings are reflecting that. Which side are you on in the Nicki Minaj Access Hollywood feud?
Matt Lauer Dance Moves On Ellen
The hosts and Billy checked out Matt Lauer’s impressive dance moves on Ellen – Matt can really cut a rug! This prompted Billy to show off a few of his own moves. The key to his dancing is starting off slow, and not “too much hip.”
The Voice Adam & Usher Duet
Last night on The Voice, Judith’s performance really impressed Hoda, who thinks she will win. Kathie Lee, on the other hand, isn’t sold quite yet. She is sold on Adam Levine and Usher’s duet performance of Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition.”
“They’re no Donnie and Marie, but they’re good!” she said.
