Kathie Lee & Hoda: Mourning the Victims Of Boston Marathon Bombing
Kathie Lee and Hoda wanted to pay their respects to the three people who died during the bombing at the Boston Marathon.
They started with the eight-year-old boy who was killed, Martin Richard. Just months before his death, his family took a picture of him with a sign that read, “No More Hurting People…PEACE.” The co-hosts also pointed out that the father of Richard was running the race at the time of the explosion and is now taking care of his wife, who is critical condition, and their daughter, who lost a leg after the explosion.
The other person killed in the bombing was Krystle Campbell, 29, who was there with her friend to watch the marathon. It was a sad story for her family who was told she had survived but when her father arrived at the hospital, it was explained that there had been a mix up and Campbell was the one who had died.
The third person who died is a Chinese national who was on a student visa. This person’s name has yet to be released.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Witness In Building Takes Photos Of Boston Marathon
A man who was inside a building near the finish line of the marathon was snapping pictures when the bomb went off. What he captured was a suspicious man who had his clothes literally blown to pieces and was running away from the explosion. While many people are speculating why he was so aware of his surroundings that he could run away after a blast, both Kathie Lee and Hoda said he simply looked scared.
Kathie Lee & Hoda Criticize People Magazine Cover
Kathie Lee had a People magazine on the table and pointed out that the cover of the magazine was a huge picture of Trisha Yearwood showing off her weight loss while a small column on the right had pictures of the bombing in Boston.
Kathie Lee couldn’t believe People magazine would not cover the story of the bombing and instead replace it with a story about weight loss. It was revealed later in the show that the Trisha Yearwood cover was for the West Coast edition while the East Coast edition featured a prominent cover of the Boston Marathon bombing.
Was it right to do two different covers for each coast? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Bradley Cooper Lives With Mother
In the latest issue of Details magazine, Bradley Cooper has revealed that he invited his mother to live with him after his father passed away two years ago. He said the passing of his father was a very difficult time for the family and he knew he needed to be there for his mother.
Kathie Lee and Hoda said this is just another reason to love Bradley Cooper but I don’t think too many women want to date a guy who lives with his mother, even if he is the one who took her in.
