Kathie Lee & Hoda: Learning Yoga Poses
Yoga can be very calming for your mind and body, but what if you want to break a sweat? It turns out that combining yoga with the right exercises can get your heart rate going. Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb were joined by Anita Goa, Yoga and Fitness Trainer, who showed the ladies how to pump up their poses.

Hoda said one of the reasons why she doesn’t enjoy yoga is afterwards you don’t feel sweaty or feel like you have done anything. Anita said there are many types of yoga and the type she teaches is very active and you will break a sweat.
Yoga Poses: Temple Pose, Eagle Squat and Prayer Jump
She said you are going to want to open your legs and open your arms to the side, shoulder height. Then you will want to step to the right and place your left foot behind the right foot and then left arm on top of the right arm. Then open again to temple pose and do it all again.
Anita said to inhale as you do the legs and arms and exhale as you do the temple pose. She said you will do about 15 to 20 of these and afterwards, jump into a prayer squat. Then jump and separate the legs and thrust the arms down between the legs and repeat.
Today Show Yoga: Knee To The Third Eye Tricep Pushup
Hoda said it sounds crazy. Anita said it is all about your third eye and following intuition. Get down on all fours. Extend the right leg out and then bring the right knee to your forehead and extend the leg out and bend the elbows and lower your chest and push back up and repeat. It is very intense and the ladies struggle with it.
