Bonnie Fuller said that the latest buzz is that the Kim Kardashian/Kris Humphries divorce trial has begun this morning. Kris Humphries is giving his deposition this morning. Oprah Winfrey did an interview with Kardashian family for her OWN network, which aired on June 17 2012 and June 24 2012, and did some of the best ratings for the network so far.
Today’s Buzz: Daytime Emmy Awards
Bonnie Fuller and Roseanne Colletti said that some stars on the red carpet at the Daytime Emmy Awards were Lisa Rinna and Bethenny Frankel. Kathie Lee Gifford pointed out that Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa won for best entertainment talk show, Live with Regis and Kelly. General Hospital was the big winner of the night with five awards, including best soap opera.
Today’s Buzz: Alex Trebek Heart Attack
Bonnie Fuller and Roseanne Colletti said that Alex Trebek, 71 and host of Jeopardy!, suffered a mild heart attack over the weekend. Trebek has been with Jeopardy! for 28 years. He is said to be in good spirits and he should be fine to start taping new season in July.
Today’s Buzz: Chris Brown Drake Bar Fight
Bonnie Fuller and Roseanne Colletti said there is still drama with the Chris Brown and Drake bar fight. The latest news is that Chris Brown was sitting at the club when Drake came in with his entourage. One of Drake’s bodyguards approached Chris Brown and Chris was going to leave and that’s when bottles started to fly.
Today’s Buzz: Brave Wins Weekend Box Office
Bonnie Fuller and Roseanne Colletti said that Brave won the weekend box office and took in $67 million. Despite the bad reviews and worries about it being a girls movie and men not going to see it, 43% of audience were boys. This is the 13th number one movie for Pixar Studios.
