The correct answer is don’t. Siobhan said it needs to be in an air-tight container or in the fridge.

The correct answer is do. Siobhan said to keep it upright and let it breathe and dry out completely. She said every couple days you need to make sure you sterilize the sponges either in the microwave for 30 seconds or in the dishwasher or throw it away and get a new one.

The correct answer is don’t. Siobhan said bacteria can grow in up to 135 degrees F, so even in the oven bacteria can grow. If it is more than two hours, keep it in the fridge and then reheat it.
