Kathie Lee & Hoda: Reel Moms Review Movies
Kathie Lee and Hoda know it can be hard to take your children to the movies, and sometimes it can be even harder to choose which movie is going to be best for your child. So they sat down with Reel Moms Jessica Shaw, mother of two and Entertainment Weekly writer, Robin Moren, mother of a three-month-old and comedian Jane Condon, a mother of two.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Jack the Giant Slayer Review
Jack the Giant Slayer is the new movie starring Nicholas Hoult, a remake of Jack and the Beanstalk. Kathie Lee pointed out the movie is rated PG-13 because of violence which might scare some children. Robin Moren said this is the type of movie her husband would enjoy because of all the action. Condon thought it was a great movie herself, saying one lady in the back of the screening she went to jumped out of her seat at the end of the movie and exclaimed “I really like it.”
I guess it has to be good if a random lady jumped out of her seat to let the theater know she liked the film.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Escape From Planet Earth Review
All the mothers agreed the film Escape From Planet Earth, about an alien who gets caught on earth and put in Area 51, is the perfect movie for the kids to watch while the moms think about what they want to make for dinner. Jane Condon said it is the perfect movie to bring a kid to but as for adult entertainment, she only had fun trying to figure out who the characters were voiced by.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Safe Haven Review
Safe Haven, the new Nicholas Sparks movie starring Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough, is cheesy, predictable and the Reel Moms loved it. Although none of them thought the chemistry was there between the two actors, they still enjoyed the film.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Hotel Transylvania Review
Hotel Transylvania is going to be hitting movie shelves soon and the Reel Moms thought this was the perfect movie for the whole family to watch.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Argo Review
The winner of Best Picture at the Academy Awards, Argo, is available to rent right now, but Jane Condon stole the last minute of the segment to talk about Silver Linings Playbook and how much she liked the movie and the message it sent to the audience.
Although they didn’t talk much about either, they are both phenomenal movies. Just watch them both.
