Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb welcomed the newest cast members of the hit Bravo series, Real Housewives of New York City, and spoke to three chefs for Today’s Kitchen: Lobster Roll Rumble.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Aviva Drescher

With the premiere of The Real Housewives of New York City coming up tonight at 9/8c on Bravo, Kathie Lee and Hoda brought on the newest members of the show…Aviva Drescher, Heather Thomson, and Carole Radziwill. Kathie Lee and Hoda ask the ladies why they have decided to do the show. Aviva Drescher, reluctant at first, decided to do the show to help raise awareness for amputees, because she is an amputee when she lost her leg at the age of six. She said, “I look funny, but I am able to help people on a large scale through the television platform, I won.”

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Carole Radziwill

Carole Radziwill is a journalist and an award-winning author. One thing she has learned with this show…”I’m learning I am much more comfortable asking the questions and being behind the scenes then being on the camera.” Carole was initially reluctant to do the show as well, but she was just finishing her second book, so the timing was good. Heather Thomson said it’s all about brand awareness…it garners interest into what I do. Being an entrepreneur, Heather said it was an opportunity..it’s opportunity knocking and things in life are worth a risk.

Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb sit down with the newest members of Bravo's hit show, The Real Housewives of New York City, and discuss the season premiere tonight.

Today Show: Lobster Rolls Contest

Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb announce that Table.com has their annual Lobster Roll Rumble, which features the country’s best lobster rolls competing for title of fan favorite. Kathie Lee and Hoda decided to bring in their own mini-rumble with Mark Murphy, Barbara Lynch Gruppo, and Luke Holden.

We take a quick look at all of the chefs and Kathie Lee and Hoda got a taste of all of them. Up first is Mark Murphy, whose lobster roll includes Lobster Meat, Tarragon, Celery, Pepper, Mayonnaise, Parsley, Scallions, Salt, Dijon Mustard, Roasted Garlic, and Old Bay Seasoning. The ladies seemed to enjoy it, but moved onto Barbara Lynch and her lobster roll, which features Lobster Meat, Lemon Juice, Butter, Hot Dog Bun, Mayonnaise, Celery, Chives, and Salt & Pepper. The ladies appeared to enjoy Barbara’s more and Hoda said “Barbara this rocks!” Last up was Luke, whose lobster roll contains Lobster Meat, Lemon Juice, Mayonnaise, Oregano, Butter, Split-Top Bun, Celery Salt, and Black Pepper. It seemed to be the most simple of the three rolls but after Kathie Lee and Hoda discussed the three lobster rolls, they announced that Luke Holden was the winner. Mark Murphy announced they will do it again on Thursday at Metropolitan for Tasting Table and that all the proceeds go to Share Our Strength.
