Julia Stiles is an Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actress, who has starred in movies ranging from 10 Things I Hate About You to Save The Last Dance to the Bourne series and many more. Stiles is a graduate of Colombia University with a degree in English Literature.

Julia Stiles: Blue Web Series

Julia Stiles will be starring in a new web series, called Blue, where she plays a character named Blue. Blue is a single mom working as an accountant by day and a secret escort by night so she can afford to send her sophisticated and smart son to a better school.

The web series is from Rodrigo Garcia, director of In Treatment, Albert Nobbs and many more, and Julia Stiles jumped at the opportunity to work with him.

For the web series, each pisode of Blue is seven minutes long and there are 12 in the series. Julia Stiles said it is for web content, so people have a shorter attention span.

Stiles said the difference between working on film from when you see the script and then it is on film could be years and this web series is such a quick process, so she wanted to do it.

Julia Stiles said they would shoot one episode a day and you get to see so many sides to her character. Stiles said that Rodrigo Garcia handled it with a lot of empathy and compassion and you get to see other facets of Blue’s life.

Julia Stiles: The Silver Linings Playbook

If you want to catch Julia Stiles in some of her other upcoming projects, she will be starring in The Silver Linings Playbook, which is due out in November 2012, and Stiles plays Jennifer Lawrence’s. Stiles just finished shooting a British film In London called Closed, which is a political thriller starring Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall, due out in 2013.
