At 79, Joan Rivers is  a comedian, television personality and actress. She is known for her brash manner, her loud, raspy voice with a heavy New York accent and her numerous cosmetic surgeries. Rivers’ comic style relies heavily on her ability to poke fun at herself and other Hollywood celebrities.

In her latest book, Joan Rivers talks everything from death to old age to historical figures to Paris Hilton. Rivers said everything she can think of, she put in the book. Hoda Kotb said it is a fun, fun read, but be ready to be offended. She talks about aging and how a guy have her a hickey and left his teeth in her neck. She holds nothing back, which is normal for Joan Rivers and why her fans love her.

Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best

Joan Rivers and her daughter, Melissa Rivers, premiered the new show Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best on WE tv. The reality TV show follows Joan moving to California to be closer to her family. During the move, she lives with daughter Melissa while searching for a home of her own. Season 2 premiered in January 2012.


Joan Rivers: Fashion Police

Joan Rivers is a co-host on Fashion Police, which airs on on E! Entertainment Television. The program, which debuted on September 10 2010, features co-hosts Joan Rivers, Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulos commenting on celebrity fashions. The series became a weekly program on September 10 2010 where they continue to discuss the dos and don’ts of celebrity fashion. The show started as a half-hour program, but expanded to one hour on March 9 2012.
