Hot off his Emmy win, Jimmy Fallon is always making us laugh on his show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and now he is trying his hand at a sitcom, as the creator and executive producer of the new show on NBC called Guys with Kids. Kathie Lee and Hoda were joined by Jimmy Fallon and the three stars of the show Anthony Anderson, Zach Cregger and Jesse Bradford, who talked about the new season.
Jimmy Fallon: Emmy for Hosting SNL
He said it was a dream of his to go on that show, but then to host it was awesome. The bit with Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, where they tackled Jon Stewart when he won the Emmy. He said they had to do it since they were all sitting by each other. He said it was loose and fun.
Jimmy Fallon: Guys with Kids Review
He said he always wanted to be involved with a sitcom that was like when we grew up. The kind the whole family could sit down and watch. Anthony plays a stay-at-home Dad of four kids all under the age of age, including six-month old twins. He said he had to teach Zach and Jesse how to hold the babies. He said Zach used to hold them by the neck and Jesse held them by the ankles. Kathie Lee said no babies were harmed in the process. Anthony said yes they were. They come in triplets, so when one breaks they just bring in the next one.
Jesse is the single Dad on the show and recently divorced and dating again, so he uses his baby as a wingman. He said babies are the new puppies.
Guys with Kids: Great Chemistry On Set
Jimmy said they sold the pilot and didn’t know where it would go from there. They didn’t know how the chemistry would be with the guys, but it is fun. Kathie Lee said he is like a little boy on the playground and having more fun than anyone with this all.
