For the invitation, Elaine suggested using fashion-inspired invites with dolls on them. She said you are never too old to play dress-up.
Emmy Party Tips: TV Show-Inspired Drinks
Elaine suggested show-inspired drinks: a Liz Lemon Drop Martini with a 30 Rock stirrer, which was just crystallized sugar. For the Boardwalk Empire fans, they have the oldest cocktail out there with the Highball.

If you are serving drinks, you are going to need coasters. Elaine said you don’t want Emmy Night to be your furniture’s last night, so she suggested conversation piece coasters that the guest can fill out, like who they want to thank for winning like during the star’s acceptance speeches.

Elaine suggested Emmy Award Fashion Bingo. You make cards for everyone and it is all about the fashion, so anytime you see a detail, like Ankle-Strap sequins, that is on your card you put a star on your card and hope for bingo.
Emmy Party Tips: Getting The Table Ready
Elaine said it is a night of stars, so she suggested Star Garland. She said you can drape it on your table or around your front door. You can also get a red runner for the table, so it gives it that red carpet feel to it.

Elaine said all the snacks are inspired by your favorite TV shows. She made Jon Hamm sandwiches, Deviled Dragon Eggs from Game of Thrones, little TVs she created and mini scones for Downtown Abbey fans.

Elaine said as everyone knows, the goodie bag is where it is at. She said you can fill them up with glamour girl products that every girl needs and you are not spending a lot of money.
