Kathie Lee & Hoda: “I Have You”

In honor of Elizabeth Stewart winning this month’s Everyone Has A Story contest, Kathie Lee Gifford and David Friedman collaborated on their talents and wrote a song for Elizabeth. The song is titled “I Have You” and is inspired by the letter that Elizabeth wrote to Kathie Lee and Hoda. Alison Luff joined them in the studio to perform the song for Elizabeth.

Alison Luff took the stage to to perform “I Have You,” written by David and Kathie Lee. Alison is a Broadway performer and will be starring in the new Broadway show from Kathie Lee Gifford called Scandalous. Alison is an up-and-coming star on Broadway and has also been seen in Ghost and Mamma Mia! on Broadway. She has an amazing voice and is very powerful. The lyrics are very fitting for Elizabeth and it brought a tear to my eye.

Elizabeth Stewart: “I Have You”

Elizabeth said the song was absolutely gorgeous and beautiful. Hoda said it was absolutely beautiful and moving. Hoda tells Elizabeth to help them out, Diapers.com has donated $2,000 worth of goodies that they will probably need to keep their family happy and healthy and a gift basket of goodies for now.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: David Friedman Performance

While joining Kathie Lee and Hoda with the Stewart family, David Friedman announced he will be performing at 54 Below and he will be doing his first solo club act in 12 years. Apparently working on Scandalous is not keeping him busy enough. He will be singing his own songs on October 22 2012 and October 29 2012 at 7pm. Friedman has written songs for many popular singers, including Diana Ross, Barry Manilow and Allison Krauss. This is a new adventure for him and he is excited, as is Kathie Lee.
