Wendy Williams: Wendi McLendon-Covey Bridesmaids Quotes
As Ellie Kemper would put it, Wendi McLendon-Covey has a face like sunshine, smells like pine needles and is more beautiful than Cinderella. It really is possible to talk entirely in Bridesmaids quotes and if I had the time I would write this entire recap in them. I’ll save that hat trick for another time.
In her role as Rita, McLendon-Covey added just another level to the humor of Bridesmaids. She played the middle-aged mom dying for her youth and surrounded by unruly and rude men. She escapes with her fellow bridesmaids for fun, but only gets digestion issues and thrown off a plane. McLendon-Covey had some of the best comedic timing in the film and seemed to speak from a place of experience when talking about her sons who curse her out.
Her latest role in Rules of Engagement might just be the move the show needs to save it’s skin. It’s been in danger of being cancelled for a while now, but pulling the McLendon-Covey card has got me hopeful for the show’s future. Her role as Liz could be compared to the excellence of Megan in Bridesmaids. She’s a little eccentric and unkempt, but could be a game changer for the show and it’s characters.
Wendy Williams: Bill Bellamy
Wendy Williams’ friend and comedian Bill Bellamy is back on her show today. In 2009, they talked about going to Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch.
“How many brother’s you know got their own bear? We barely got a dollar,” Bellamy said. He described Neverland as a snooty zoo full of entitled woodland creatures.
Bellamy follows all the hot topics and then comes to Wendy to discuss them. He puts his own comedic spin on them, but they are hilarious because they are true.
In 2011, he talked to Wendy about the Arnold Schwarzenegger scandal. He talked about how Arnold must have been desperate to go to Mildred the nanny.
“How old are you when your side chick is named Mildred? They don’t even make Mildred anymore.”
Wendy Williams: Movie Star Smile
Dr. Jonathan Levine is showing Wendy how to get a movie star smile. He has an extensive blog on Dr. Oz’s website about taming your bad breath, getting your smile through special occasions and fighting more serious mouth issues, such as oral cancer. For a camera-ready smile, Dr. Levine recommends veggies like broccoli and carrots, fruits for dessert, limiting your alcohol and reaching for almonds and pumpkin seeds as snacks.
