She got her start in acting when she was cast as Francesca Monroe on the series The Jamie Foxx Show. She then went on to star as Valerie Heywood in NYPD Blue for three seasons. Now, she is currently starring on the show Franklin & Bash and has also been cast in the movie White House Down.

In White House Down, Garcelle Beauvais, plays the role of the First Lady of the United States, alongside Jamie Foxx and Channing Tatum. The movie focuses on a group of men taking over the White House and how Channing Tatum’s character, a rejected Secret Service applicant, is able to save the president, played by Jamie Foxx.

Do you think this is the type of movie you are going to go see? It reminds me of the movie Gerard Butler recently starred in, Olympus had Fallen.

Wendy Williams also had a Hot Topic segment that needed more than just her to tackle. She invited Bravo’s Tabatha Coffey, HLN’s Robin Meade and the Atlanta DJ Ryan Cameron to join her on set to discuss some of the week’s latest hot topics.

Who knows what she will be covereing this week on her Hot Topics segment, but if you have ever seen Wendy Williams, you know it will be funny.
