Wendy Williams: Cedric the Entertainer – The Soul Man
Cedric the Entertainer is stopping by Wendy Williams to talk about the new season of The Soul Man. The TV Land sitcom was created by Cedric the Entertainer and Suzanne Martin and is a sort of spin-off of Hot in Cleveland, a show he starred on in 2011.
The series follows the live of R&B superstar turned minister Rev. Boyce “The Voice” Ballantine, played by Cedric the Entertainer, who was living large in Las Vegas before he heard his true calling from God. So he moved his family back to his hometown of St. Louis to begin preaching, but his family is not happy about going from such a glamorous lifestyle to such a humble one.
Have you seen any episodes of this show? I had never heard about it till today but it sounds like it can be kind of funny. If it is anything like Hot in Cleveland, they can expect a long run on television.
Cedric the Entertainer Hosting Who Wants to be a Millionaire
Cedric the Entertainer is replacing Meredith Vieira as the host of the iconic show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
The show, which has been airing since 1999, has some new rules that have been changing every few seasons. The newest reimagination of the rules sees the contests answering 14 questions with three lifelines. The questions are put into two sections. During the first section, contestants who get a right answer may have to answer a super hard question for only a $100 but answer a tough question for $25,000. The value of the question and how difficult it is are no longer related.
The second half of the game, the final four questions, uses the original rules of Millionaire.
