On night two of The Voice premiere, the teams gained a few more singers. Here are the standings at the end of night two of blind auditions:

  • Team Adam: Judith Hill, Midas Whale, Sarah Simmons
  • Team Blake: The Morgan Twins, Danielle Bradbery, Christian Porter
  • Team Shakira: Mark Andrew, Kris Thomas, Tawnya Reynolds, Cáthia

Former model and worship band singer, Josiah Hawley decided it was time to make a career change. He chose to sing “Sunday Morning” by Maroon 5. Tawnya Reynolds is “country to the core” and performed “Mamas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Me Cowboys.”

The Voice Midas Whale “Folsom Prison Blues” & Abraham McDonald Beyoncé

Duo Midas Whale is from Idaho and rocks a guitar and accordion. They performed “Folsom Prison Blues.” Abraham McDonald showed the judges he had heart and confidence. He performed “The Best I Never Had” by Beyoncé.

The Voice: Cáthia Goes Team Shakira & Sarah Simmons Joins Team Adam

Young Latin singer Cáthia sparked Shakira’s interest by singing in Spanish. She performed “No Me Doy por Vencido” and had all of the judges impressed. Music student Sarah Simmons put off college to attend The Voice auditions. She performed “One Of Us” by Joan Osborne.

The Voice is all-new next Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC. Come back here next week for our in depth recaps and analysis of the performances. It’s sure to be an exciting season full of astounding talent.
