The Voice March 25 2013 Recap
The season four premiere of The Voice did everything but disappoint. The two-hour premiere was full of suspense and fears, but also tears of joy and excitement for what lies ahead. Here are the teams so far:
- Team Adam: Judith Hill
- Team Blake: The Morgan Twins, Danielle Bradbery, Christian Porter
- Team Shakira: Mark Andrew, Kris Thomas
- Team Usher: Jess Kellner, Vedo
The Voice: The Morgan Twins, Jess Kellner, Mark Andrew & New Strategy
The judges’ strategy for this season: beat Adam Levine. The Morgan Twins opened the show with a perfect, twin duet. I thought we should all just go home now because Team Blake is going to win. Jess Kellner wooed Usher with her sultry, raspy indy voice. Mark Andrew captured Shakira with a rocking performance.
#VoicePremiere: Danielle Bradbery, Vedo & Janetza Miranda Season 4 Premiere
Country sweetheart Danielle Bradbery won over Blake and conquered her fears. Vedo brought me to tears when he talked about his mom. He went to Team Usher. Janetza Miranda tried a little too hard and didn’t make the cut.
The Voice: Christian Porter LMFAO Cover & Leah Lewis “Blown Away”
Bar singer Christian Porter made us laugh with his rendition of “Sexy And I Know It.” He went to Team Blake. Leah Lewis showed the judges her potential, but they didn’t think she was there yet.
The Voice Judith Hill Team Adam, Kris Thomas Team Shakira, James Irwin
Judith Hill stole the show and became the sole Team Adam member of the night. Kris Thomas shocked the judges with his Whitney Houston and he went to Team Shakira. James Irwin didn’t wow with his voice and needed a different song.
